GLP-1 medications are clinically proven to reduce inflammation markers, leading to decreased inflammatory response and oxidative stress.

GLP-1 medications work by impacting areas in your brain that control food cravings and regulate appetite.
The result is a shift in your body’s weight set point and sustained weight loss.

GLP-1 medications slow how quickly food moves from the stomach to the intestines. This helps you feel full faster, regulates portion control and reduces caloric intake.

GLP-1 medications improve whole-body
energy metabolism by increasing insulin
sensitivity of muscle cells and regulating
fat cell development.

GLP-1 medications reduce both body and visceral fat. Combined with coaching, protein targets, and strength training, our program helps you preserve muscle while you lose weight.

GLP-1 medications work best when combined with diet and exercise.
We recommend a high protein, low carbohydrate diet to help you optimize your weight loss therapy.

We recommend a fitness regimen focused on strength and resistance training while on GLP-1 medication.
The goal is to preserve/build muscle mass while promoting fat breakdown.
Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are GLP-1 agonists medications. This class of medications are analogues of naturally occurring hormones that send a signal to your brain telling you that you are full.
This “fullness hormone” curbs your appetite, decreases your food intake, and leads to significant weight loss.
The average weight loss is 15-22% of a persons weight while on GLP-1 medications such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide.
Not only do these medications help you lose weight, but it helps keep the weight off by reducing your body weight set point.
Some side effects of the medication include but are not limited to: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, decreased appetite, dyspepsia, GERD, gastritis, pancreatitis.
Gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea are common, especially when the dose is increased, and typically subside with time as your body adjusts to the medication. Serious side effects such as pancreatitis are rare. Side effects are also dose dependent so it is important to let your doctor know how you are doing with the dose you have been taking before increasing the dose of the medication.
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms please speak with your physician to decide whether or not continued use of the medication is right for you.
